CHAMFERED WINDOWS

Chamfered windows are often used in historic buildings, especially log houses, to maintain the ancient and authentic look of the building. Chamfered windows are among the oldest types of windows and are generally used in buildings dating back to the 19th century.

Chamfered windows have excellent sound insulation properties, and they open two ways – the interior windows open inwards, while the exterior windows open outwards. We manufacture chamfered windows according to custom design.

Chamfered windows are generally manufactured as analogues to the old windows keeping in line with the original idea of the architect. You will recognize chamfered windows from the visible hinges on the outside.
